Sunday Test in Itapúa

This past weekend the red dirt roads of the south of the country -Carmen del Paraná, Cambyretá and Colonias Unidas- were used as the ideal setting for the Sunday Test of the 2026 Paraguay Rally. Teams from the WRC2 and Rally4 categories went out to roar the engines, with the largest participation of local duos.

Preparation for the 11th WRC round

The main goal of the free tests was to give crews their first contact with the cars on Itapúa soil, evaluating the response of all components and fine-tuning the car for official checks. The 2026 WRC Paraguay Rally, which last year was declared “The Best Rally in the World”, returns as the 11th round of the 2026 calendar and will feature the longest stage layout of the season, with 357.6 km of special stages distributed over 22 timed sections.

Continuation with the Monday Test

The official testing schedule will continue this Monday with the Monday Test in the Nueva Alborada area, where the gradual inclusion of more world-class crews is expected. From August 27 to 30, the Itapúa department will once again become the absolute epicenter of global motorsport.
