Awards and Selection

The bodybuilding championship organized by the Paraguayan Federation of Bodybuilding, with more than 50 years of tradition, will award 40 athletes in 57 categories. The event, held on Monday at the Hotel Guaraní, gathered more than 150 bodybuilders and 500 fans for about 10 hours.

The prizes awarded by the Federation for the best consist of covering registration fees, uniforms, travel, among others, for the 51st South American Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, which will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from September 17 to 21, 2026. The tournament will be organized by the South American Confederation of Fitness and Bodybuilding (CSFF) and the Argentine Federation of Musculation and Fitness (FAMF), with support from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB).

International Participation

Mister Paraguay concluded the Saturday competition and the Paraguayan Federation will present the list of the 40 selected athletes and judges for the South American Championship. Victor Luis Mirella, president of the federation and vice-president of the South American Confederation, was present along with other authorities of the entity, the executive of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, officials of the National Sports Secretariat, and former athletes.

Event Details

Organizers highlighted that it is one of the best years for the Federation, in terms of athletes sent to national and international competitions, as it also has excellent judges and officials. Among the particularities of the day, screens of 12 x 4 meters were used, where trophies up to 1 meter in height shone.
