Slowly, the schedule for Colombia's national team during the September and October international break, a FIFA window that will mark the reunion of the Tricolor after the World Cup, is being defined. This window will allow the team under Néstor Lorenzo to play up to four friendly matches.
Two of the matches are already confirmed, and for the third, there is already a potential opponent. Colombia, which will face Mexico and Peru, could also play against Paraguay in the United States. The day and venue for the match still need to be confirmed.
“Colombia’s other opponent in the September-October FIFA window would be Paraguay, also in the USA. Details of the city and date are still pending,” reported Sebastián Vargas, a journalist from Caracol Radio, on his X account.

It is worth noting that the last encounter between the Tricolor and the Paraguayan team was in March 2025, in the 14th round of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. In that match, they drew 2-2 in Barranquilla, with goals from Luis Díaz, Jhon Durán, Junior Alonso, and Julio Enciso.

The FIFA window will run from September 21 to October 6. Colombia, for now, will focus on the United States and will play friendly matches against Mexico, on September 26 at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, and against Peru, on October 6 in Miami.
