Paraguay wins gold and bronze in Master International South America of IBJJF. The national team signed an outstanding performance in one of the most important tournaments of the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) circuit. The main joy came from Sergio Villasanti, who became champion by obtaining the gold medal in the Master 3, Blue Belt, up to 76 kg category. On the other hand, Daniel Benítez also reached the podium after finishing with the bronze medal in the Master 1, Red Belt, up to 88.3 kg category. The results confirm the sustained growth of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Paraguay and the prominence that its representatives have been achieving in top-level competitions at a continental and international level. Paraguay returns to the podium with gold and bronze in the Master International South America of the IBJJF. The last victory of the Paraguayan selection in a tournament of this type was in 2024, when they took the title of champion in the Master 2, Green Belt, up to 77 kg category. The Paraguayan team has been working hard to improve its performance in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu discipline, and these results are a reflection of its effort and dedication.
